Pain is Inevitable but Enduring is Non-mandatory
Pain is the currency of our values. It becomes impossible to determine the value of something without considering the pain of loss.
Havelock Ellis uttered;
“Pain and death are part of life. To reject them is reject life itself.”
Pain has been around us since the commencement of our evolutionary background with the development of nervous systems. It is like apparently something is hurting us and threatening our survival so we need an attention seeking signal or alarm to alert us to the danger and it is not wrong if we relate it for both physical and psychological pain which is most of the time horribly haunting us deep inside. As such, the most of the pain can educate us how not to suffer, and how to suffer less in terrible circumstances. Pain’s primary lessons are how to escape pain, and cope with pain that can’t be escaped. Its value lies in realizing people how to get rid of itself.
Experiencing pain leads negativity while positive emotions are caused by pacifying pain so pain is a core of all emotions. Our emotional reaction will be widely disproportional to the importance of the event which is basically a result, when we avoid pain and make ourselves more fragile. In fact, Life is like a roller coaster. You never know whether the next moment will be painful or joyful. And experience itself is more valuable than the joy or pain. The experience achieved from pain makes you realize your true inner self in the face of a dilemma. It gives you an opportunity, but it may not be correct about a pleasurable experience. The experience is as it is, in fact, it is always us who have a perspective that makes it good or bad.
Sometimes we also have to unlearn what we learned from pain in a search for peace, contentment and to make our life more attuned to reality. So, Experience is all about having the awareness to put what happens to us in its rightful place so that we recognize things for what they actually are.
Sometimes, I depressed about my education, career progress, pathetic routine, especially my rapidly ascending age, but other times whenever I encounter a mirror I am specifically disgusted by the potato that stares me back. Consequentially, whatever the cause of my pain, it can be fixed without any doubt as there is merely needed to be prepared for a savage and bloody battle.
There are a few hurdles like career advancement, have a straightforward solution and that is struggle, work harder and be honest. Others might not be within someone’s control and those are the toughest to deal with because they require to change their way of thinking. In a nutshell, accepting and learning the inevitable good and bad in life is the courageous way to salvation because when we deny the ability to feel pain for a purpose, we actually deny the ability to feel any purpose as well in our lives.
